August, 1998 - One Year LaterOn the first anniversary of the death of
Diana, Princess of Wales,
I was in England visiting my family. I wanted to share some
of the moments with you that I will always treasure.
Diana at Madame
Tussaud's Wax Museum
At Lincoln Cathedral located in
Lincolnshire county, a
lovely memorial chapel had been set up to Diana's memory.
This picture was to the right of the chapel. In the chapel
were large flat ceramic urns where one could place a lighted candle.
The donation box on the side stated that all donations received would be
divided between the British Red Cross and the Land Mine group that
Diana had been associated with.

The original memorial to Diana and Dodi at Harrod's.
Mr. Al Fayed unveiled a new memorial to
Diana and Dodi on the first anniversary of their deaths,
which is pictured below. The new memorial has the pictures of Diana and Dodi in
intertwined D's.
These pictures were taken by my friend John Gaskell when we
visited the memorial together on November 28, 1998.
